Milt Jarrett

Milt Jarrett taught instrumental music and mathematics in Oklahoma Public Schools for ten years. He moved into Oklahoma Higher Education in 1965 at Northwestern State College where he taught mathematics for two years.  In 1967 he joined Continuing Education and Public Service at The University of Oklahoma where he remained until 1975, serving as Director of Off-Campus Classes. Dr. Jarrett came to The University of Tulsa in 1975 to initiate a continuing education program and remained there as Dean of Continuing Education until 1998. Since that time, he has served TU as Assistant Provost for Academic Outreach.  He holds degrees from East Central State University, The University of Texas, and The University of Oklahoma. He has been a member of the OHEHS Board of Directors since 2000.
