B. Curtis Hamm

Between 1966 and 1996, Professor B. Curtis Hamm made significant contributions to the Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business in teaching, administration, research, and international relations. He mentored students through the business college, earning numerous awards for teaching and advising student organizations. He has published in major journals in his field and made the leap from assistant professor to professor in merely seven years. He was honored by his former students by the establishment of a $250,000 endowed scholarship in his name. Moreover, Dr. Hamm taught the concepts of business abroad in over thirty countries and spent a year at both the University of Jordan and as a Fullbright Professor at the Sun Yat Sen University in China developing graduate schools of business. He has been elected as a Fellow at the University of Missouri, the University of Pittsburgh and the American Graduate School of Business. His book, The Art of Partnering, is used at several universities. By his contributions to the field of marketing, Professor Hamm has enhanced the reputation and the strength of Higher Education in Oklahoma, and he is welcomed into the Higher Education Hall of Fame.
